- Use the size of a 9 volt battery as the "measuring stick":

- A 2 band eq. module is the same size as a 9 volt battery. So, for 2 band equalization you should have enough room in the cavity for two 9 volt batteries (the battery plus the module). These spaces can occur between the pots, next to them or on top of them if that will allow the back plate to close.

- The 3 band eq. system consists of 2 modules: one is the same size as a 9 volt battery, the other is smaller (2/3 the size of a 9 volt battery). So, for a 3 band eq. you should have enough room in the cavity for three 9 volt batteries. The 3 band eq. systems are split into 2 modules so that it is easier to find space for them in the cavity.
